The Managing Director is, on behalf of Nordic Hosting AS, the data controller for the company's processing of personal data.

Our invoicing system also contains purchase history.

  • Stripe – for secure payment processing. Data is transferred to the USA with adequate security measures in accordance with GDPR.
  • Google reCAPTCHA – for protection against spam and abuse. Data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy.
  • Google Analytics – for anonymous analysis of website usage.

Purpose of Processing

We process the information to fulfill our obligations under the agreement with you.

We also use the information to provide you with information, offers, and services related to your purchase via email, phone, and SMS.

Legal Basis for Processing

Information about name, address, phone, and email address is used to fulfill the purchase agreement. The legal basis for this processing is GDPR Article 6(b).

Collection of Personal Data

We store the personal data you have provided on our websites or to our employees in connection with purchases or entering into agreements.

  • Realtime Register (our sponsoring registrar) – for international domains and whois registration in accordance with ICANN requirements

Deletion of Personal Data

Information we have received in connection with your purchase is stored in our customer register as long as you are a customer with us, and up to 3 years after you have been a customer.

Information we are required to retain under the Bookkeeping Act will be stored in accordance with the law's requirements.

Rights of the Data Subject

We process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. Please note that you can request access to and portability of your own personal data, as well as request correction or deletion of information.

Complaints can be filed with the Data Protection Authority regarding processing that violates the rules.
